Ball: A Musical Tribute To My Lost Testicle – Coming to Mankato

(Mankato, MN) – The details are out on this year’s No Shave November in Mankato and among the events will be a theatrical production about one man’s battle with testicular cancer.

“Ball: A Musical Tribute To My Lost Testicle” is set for November 20th at the Mankato Brewery. Tickets are free. Donations will benefit GrowMANkato.

The show is performed by Max Wojtanowicz, who was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer in January 2016. It includes storytelling and original songs about chemotherapy, community and the courage needed life throws you a curve… ball.

The annual month-long efforts to raise awareness of prostate & testicular cancer will kick-off November 1st at Mankato Brewery with a “Shave Down, Beards & Beer Event.” It’ll wrap up November 30th with a Mustache Bash at Pub 500. More details and info on other events can be found here.

GrowMANkato has a goal to raise $10,000 this year. The funds will go to help support men going through treatment and their families by providing gift cards to help ease everyday expenses such as gas and groceries.
