Elementary students participating in regional science and engineering fair at Minnesota State Mankato

(Mankato, MN) – Nearly 900 students in grades 3 – 6 have registered for the annual elementary division of the Southern Minnesota Regional Science and Engineering Fair.

More than 100 Minnesota elementary schools will be represented at the fair, which is this Saturday, April 28, at Myers Field House on campus.

The exhibit hall is free and open to the public from Noon-2 p.m.  And awards ceremony afterward is also open to the public.

The Southern Minnesota Regional Science and Engineering Fair is hosted by Minnesota State Mankato’s College of Science, Engineering and Technology.  It’s intention is to foster a passion for exploration and discovery in students from 3rd grade through high school.
