Mankato Marathon Benefactors Include Open Door & Camp Sweet Life

(Mankato, MN) – The Mankato Marathon today announced the five charities that will be the non-profit benefactors for this year’s race.

The 2017 Charities Program will support Project for Teens, Camp Sweet Life Adventures, Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota, Open Door Health Center and YMCA LiveSTRONG.

Each program will choose four Champion Runners who will raise money for their respective charity.

In addition, the five charities have the potential to raise additional dollars as runners will be able to donate to any or all the charities when they register for any of the October Mankato Marathon races.

Registration for the eighth annual Mankato Marathon opens January 5th.

Last year’s selected charities raised nearly $31,000 combined.
