Mankato Police: Two Arrested After Gun Used in Drug Deal Robbery

(Mankato, MN) – A young man and a teenage boy have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Mankato on Monday.

The Department of Public Safety says police were dispatched to a report of a robbery involving a handgun in the parking lot of 200 to 300 Dublin Court.
The investigation determined that two juveniles were at a scheduled arrangement to purchase marijuana, and three of the four people involved in the incident knew each other.
Arrested were a 16-year-old boy from Mankato and 19-year-old Muridi Hassan Hussein of Mankato.
Both Hussein and the 16-year-old suspect are expected to be charged with first degree aggravated robbery.
