(Mankato, MN) – It could be a bit tricky getting to parts of Mankato in the weeks ahead due to work planned by the city and by the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Starting at 7:00 Tuesday morning, Stadium Road Hill from Ellis Avenue to Stoltzman Road will be closed for reconstruction. It is expected to remain closed until mid-July.
Also starting next week will be lane closures and intermittent ramp closures on Highway 14 from 3rd Avenue to Highway 22 in Mankato as crews patch deteriorated pavement.
The lane and ramp closures on Highway 14 are expected next Monday through Thursday (May 22-25) and then the following week Tuesday through Thursday (May 30-June 1).
With the coming construction, MnDOT is urging drivers to slow down and drive with caution through the work zones, saying “lives are on the line.”
