Overnight Robbery at Gunpoint, Mankato Police Seek Suspects

(Mankato, MN) – Mankato police are seeking two suspects in an overnight robbery near downtown.

Department of Public Safety Commander Dan Schisel says the victim had dropped off a friend in the 300 block of East Walnut Street around 1:00am Friday when two men approached. They pointed a gun at the victim and removed them from the vehicle and then took off.

The victim went to a nearby business that was open at the time and called police and by the time officers arrived, the vehicle had been driven back to the area of the robbery and parked and the suspects were gone.

The suspects are described as shorter black males wearing all black. One was in his early 30’s with short hair and wearing a navy blue bandanna over his face. The other suspect was bald.
