Triathlon Means Road Closures in North Mankato Sunday

(North Mankato, MN) – A number of roads will be closed this Sunday to make way for athletes taking part in the North Mankato Triathalon.

The city says roads closed between 8am and noon Sunday will include Lake Street, Lee Boulevard Hill, Lookout Drive Hill and Judson Bottom Road. There will also be no access off of Highway 169 to Lookout Drive or West Lind Street. Those needing to access the hilltop can do so via Highway 14.

The North Mankato Triathlon will start Sunday morning at 8:00 at Hiniker Pond Park. It includes a 1/4 mile swim, 12-mile bike, and 3-mile run.
