Two Deputies Injured When Blue Earth County Squad Cars Collide

(Mankato, MN) – Two deputies with the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office were hurt this morning when their squad cars collided.

According to the State Patrol, both Ford Explorer squad cars were eastbound on County Road 90 approaching County Road 8 around 7:00am when the first slowed down to make a U-turn and was rear-ended by the other.

The injuries to 47-year-old Luanne Anderson and 30-year-old Adam Suckow were not life threatening, although Anderson was taken to the MCHS Hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
