Woman Accused of Stealing Meds From Winnebago Assisted Living Facility

(Winnebago, MN) – A 42-year-old woman from Delavan stands accused of stealing prescription medications that were supposed to go to residents of the assisted living facility where she worked.

Kimberly Ann Terhurne is charged with theft of a controlled substance and two counts of drug possession.

According to the complaint, a deputy was called to the Dollar General store in Blue Earth on August 4th on a report of a woman who was sleeping in her truck.

The deputy says he found Terhurne sleeping, sprawled out across the center console of the vehicle. She had on one shoe and was “covered in chocolate.”

The deputy says a search of her truck turned up a meth pipe and a bottle full of different pills. The complaint says Terhurne later admitted that she took the pills from her work, the Parker Oaks assisted living facility in Winnebago.
