2 COVID-19 deaths in Renville County Sunday

Two of Minnesota’s five COVID-19 deaths Sunday came from Renville County.
Those deaths involved a person in their early 60’s and a person in their late 70’s, according to the daily update from the Minnesota Department of Health.
The deaths put Renville County’s death toll at 43, while Minnesota’s total deaths rose to 6,782.
Another 956 new infections were reported Sunday by MDH; 810 were confirmed, while 146 were listed as “probable.”
Southern Minnesota counties reporting new cases include Blue Earth, with 12 cases, Nicollet 7, Freeborn, 9, Brown, 7, Sibley, 7, and Renville, 5.
