2 men injured in plane crash south of Hutchinson

Two men were injured Monday afternoon in a plane crash south of Hutchinson.

The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash just after 1 p.m. in the area of 145th St and Plum Ave.

A press release says two adult males were removed from the aircraft and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Both men were then airlifted to a metro-area trauma center.  Their current conditions are unknown.

The Federal Aviation Administration will assist in the investigation.
