4 injured in Blue Earth crash

Four people were injured in a crash in Blue Earth Wednesday evening.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a car was westbound on I-90 and an SUV was northbound on Highway 169 when the vehicles collided at the intersection.

Sharol Diane Vincent, 76, of Albert Lea, was behind the wheel of the car, according to a state patrol crash report.

The SUV driver was identified as Makayla Anne Hernandez, 20, of Blue Earth. Hernandez had two passengers in her vehicle: Heather Hernandez, 51, of Winnebago, and Jaryd Johnson, 23, of Blue Earth.

Both drivers and the two passengers were transported to United District Hospital in Blue Earth with non-life threatening injuries.

The state patrol says Johnson was not wearing a safety belt.

The crash time is listed as 5:48 p.m.
