Alcohol is suspected as a factor in a serious injury crash north of Springfield Saturday night.

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office says a vehicle was southbound on CSAH 13 when it left the roadway near the intersection with 170th St around 11:28 p.m.  The vehicle rolled multiple times, causing the driver to be ejected, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

The RCSO says the driver of the vehicle, Landon James Rolbiecki, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.  He is now in stable condition, according to the release.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash at this time, according to the sheriff’s office.  The crash is still under investigation.
