At least one person injured in crash north of Fairfax

At least one person was injured in a crash north of Fairfax early Tuesday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a Dodge Ram pickup was westbound on Co Rd 2 and a GMC pickup was southbound on Highway 4 when the vehicles collided in the intersection, just before 6 a.m.

A patrol crash report says the GMC pickup was driven by a 53-year-old Darwin man.  A 66-year-old Fairfax man was behind the wheel of the Dodge pickup.

Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash, according to the crash report.

No further details have yet been released, including the names of the drivers and the nature of the injuries.
