(North Mankato, MN) – A professional Australian softball team will make North Mankato its home this summer.

The Aussie Peppers of Minneosta will train for the 2020 Olympics as the complete in the National Pro Fastpitch League, using Caswell Park as their home field.  This is the Aussie Pepper’s second season of pro softball in the United States.

Pro softball was first brought to North Mankato in 2018 when the Mankato Peppers hosted an NPF regular season series between the Chicago Bandits and Beijing Shougang Eagles.

Local games will begin around June 1, while the schedule will be released at the end of this week.
