Blue Earth man injured in crash south of Wells

A Blue Earth man was injured in a crash south of Wells Monday morning

Koby James Nagel, 20, was hospitalized at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life threatening injuries, according to a crash report from the Minnesota State Patrol.

Nagel was traveling northbound on Highway 22 when his pickup crossed the centerline at 14oth St and collided with a southbound International tractor truck driven by Marvin Joseph Fendrich, 68, of Emmons.

Fendrich was not transported to a hospital, but suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to the crash report.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, which is listed as 8:11 a.m.
