(Faribault, MN) – A Faribault man has been charged, accused of spraying a group of Somali children, then soaking the family living room through an open window

Zachariah Joseph Manahan, 18,  was charged Monday in Rice County with felony stalking – commit because of bias, gross misdemeanor damage to property, and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

According to the criminal complaint, Manahan connected a garden hose to a pressure washer and sprayed a 15-year-old girl and her siblings multiple times while yelling racial slurs.  The girl told police Manahan continuously yelled “f**king Somalians” and “b**ch Somalians” while drenching the children.  He also sprayed water into an open window on the second floor of the house, according to the complaint.

Police checked inside the 3rd Street residence and found multiple items and the walls drenched with water, according to the complaint.
