CityArt kicks off annual Walking Sculpture Tour this weekend

CityArt will kick off its 2023 Walking Sculpture Tour this Saturday. 

The 32 new pieces from sculptors throughout the country will be installed around Mankato for the public to enjoy.

On Saturday morning, CityArt will host its 2nd Annual Kick Off Your Walk Community Day from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Carnegie Art Center, where visitors will have the chance to meet and interact with the artists and enjoy live jazz music by the Hannah Bretz Trio.

Brochures with maps of the sculpture locations will be available, and the Blue Earth County and Taylor libraries will have materials available for a bookmark design contest.
