New Bar Coming to Mankato: The Atomic Star Tavern

(Mankato, MN) – The Mankato City Council tonight (Monday) is expected to approve a liquor license for the newest bar that’ll be operating in downtown.

The request comes from Jeremy Drummer on behalf of The Atomic Star Tavern, which will be in the former location of Jonny B’s on the Plaza, which closed earlier this month. The Jonny B’s location in the University Square Mall will stay open.

No word yet on the offerings at The Atomic Star Tavern or when it’ll officially open, but the liquor license will commence on September 1st.
