COVID cases increase at Mankato schools

COVID-19 cases at Mankato schools increased over the last seven days, according to a weekly report updated Thursday.

The district reported 28 new infections between April 1 and April 7, double from last week’s report of 14. The number of quarantines also doubled, from 112 the previous week, to 227.

There has been a total of 430 positive cases between students and staff since the start of the school year.
