COVID death reported in Le Sueur County

A person in Le Sueur County has died of the coronavirus, the Minnesota Department of Health said Thursday
The death was one of four recorded in the state and involved a person in their late 80’s. It’s the 26th death of the pandemic in the county. The other three deaths involved victims in their 20’s, 30’s and 50’s. Minnesota’s death toll is now at 7,527.
State health officials also reported another 142 new infections, with just one new case in Blue Earth County.
