Demolition of former Dutler’s Bowl building kicks off

Demolition of the former Dutler’s Bowl officially started yesterday.

City leaders and developers took a ceremonial whack with a sledgehammer to the neglected building, which will be razed to make way for a $20 million mixed-use project.

The new construction will add 72 apartment units and 78,000 square feet of commercial space to the Highway 169 corridor, which city leaders say is in need of an upgrade.
