Elysian motorcyclist seriously injured in crash with deer

A motorcyclist was seriously injured when his bike struck a deer in Waterville Monday morning.
James Paul Remiger, 42, was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with life-threatening injuries following the crash.
A Minnesota State Patrol crash report says Remiger was eastbound on Highway 60 at 5:30 a.m. when the crash occurred.
A crash report says Remiger was wearing a helmet.
