(Mankato, MN) – Motorists should expect to encounter lane restrictions on Highway 169 in North Mankato starting Wednesday.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the northbound lanes of the highway will be restricted near Belgrade Avenue from September 4th to Friday, September 6th as crews work on sewer repairs.

On Monday, September 9th, crews will move to the other side of the highway, and the southbound lanes of Highway 169 will be restricted.

Both sections of the highway are expected to be paved on Wednesday, September 11th, weather permitting.

The restrictions will be in place to accommodate the replacement of the catch basin, which MnDOT has experienced problems with in the past.
