Faribault County resident dies of COVID

A resident from Faribault County has died of COVID-19, says the Minnesota Department of Health.
That death was one of five that was reported in MDH’s daily update on Sunday. The death involved a person in their late 90’s, and was the 18th in Faribault County since the start of the pandemic.
Minnesota’s death toll stands at 6,746.
MDH also reported another 997 new COVID-19 infections Sunday, which included 24 in Blue Earth County, and 12 cases in Nicollet County.
