Fire damages Mozart Ave home

A fire damaged a Mankato home Tuesday morning.

The Mankato Department of Public Safety responded to a structure fire report at 112 W. Mozart Ave. at 10:26 a.m.

Crews arrived to find the exterior of the home on fire and extinguished it.

No injuries were reported, according to a press release.

Damages are estimated at $20,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
