A fire on Monday caused moderate damage to a North Mankato home.

The North Mankato Fire Department was called to 1635 Nottingham Dr just before 10 a.m., where they found flames coming from a chimney area.

The roof received moderate fire damage, while the interior of the home had minimal water damage.

There were no injuries, according to a press release.

NMFD was on the scene for about two hours.

The fire remains under investigation by the local fire officials and the state fire marshal’s office.
