Five Below Now Open in Mankato, 5¢ Hot Dogs This Weekend

(Mankato, MN) – The new Five Below store in Mankato is now open.

Located in the Mankato Heights Plaza (near Old Navy), Five Below caters to teens, pre-teens and their parents, with everything in the store priced between $1 and $5.

Offerings include things like cell phone cases and chargers, backpacks, headphones, school supplies, yoga pants and graphic tees, spinners, toys and balls, nail polish, art supplies, candy and seasonal must-haves for Easter, Halloween, Christmas and more.

Five Below in Mankato will have some specials this weekend for its Grand Opening. That includes scratch-off tickets valued at up to $100 for the first 100 people at the store Friday morning, along with 5 cent hot dogs Friday from 3-6p and Saturday from 11a-2p (limit 3 per person).

Five Below was co-founded by David Schlessinger, creator and founder of Encore Books and Zany Brainy along with Tom Vellios, former CEO of Zany Brainy.

Its first store opened in 2002 in Wayne, Pennsylvania, and it now has more than 500 stores across 32 states.
