Governor Walz’s education tour lands in Mankato Friday

Governor Tim Walz will stop in Mankato Friday as part of his statewide education tour.
The governor will be accompanied by Minnesota Department of Education Commissioner Dr. Heather Mueller. The pair will visit a school in Mankato to highlight the historic education investments included in Minnesota’s COVID-19 Recovery Budget, says an advisory from the governor’s office.
The event is not open to the public, but the media is invited for coverage.
