Green Isle man arrested; drugs, cash seized

(Gaylord, MN) – A three-month investigation led to the arrest of a Green Isle man on drug charges.

Dominick Leonardo Ramirez, 18, was arrested and charged in Sibley County District Court with third and fifth-degree drug sales, and second and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, according to a press release from Sheriff Patrick Nienaber.

On August 25, police were executing a search warrant on Cleveland Ave in Green Isle.  The search was part of a three-month investigation by Sibley County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force.  During the search, police seized just under 3.5 pounds of marijuana, and 268 doses of suspected LSD.

A handgun, ammunition, and $16,000 in cash were also seized.

The investigation is ongoing.
