Jeffers Petroglyphs will reopen in July

(St. Paul, MN) – A local historical attraction will reopen this summer.

Jeffers Petroglyphs is set to welcome visitors starting July 15, according to a release from the Minnesota Historical Society.

MNHS said the health and safety of guests, staff, and the community was at the forefront in decision-making.  The Split Rock Lighthouse on Minnesota’s North Shore will also reopen the same day, according to the release.  MNHS said both historical sites offer a predominately outdoor experience, which factored into the decision to reopen.  New protocols will be implemented to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19.

Jeffers Petroglyphs will be open Thursday through Sunday.  Guests may purchase entry tickets for $8 online or inside the visitor center.
