Mankato Police investigating alleged robbery at Riverside Suites
Police say a man was arrested and two teens questioned after a reported robbery in Mankato Sunday afternoon.
Police responded at around 3:30 p.m. to the Riverside Suites on West Lind Ct, where the victim described three males that had just left in a vehicle. The victim and the robbers were known to each, according to Mankato Department of Public Safety Associate Director Dan Schisel.
Police located the suspect vehicle in the area of Cherry St. and 2nd Ave and arrested 27-year-old Quantral Davis on charges of aggravated 1st-degree robbery and 2nd-degree assault.
Police say a weapon and money taken from the victim were found in the vehicle. Schisel said the weapon was reported to be a handgun, but was later discovered to be a BB gun that was a replica of a handgun.
The teens with Davis – ages 16 and 17 – could also face charges.
Davis is currently in custody at the Blue Earth County Jail.
