Mankato schools offering breakfast & lunch during shutdown; 2 new locations added

(Mankato, MN) – Mankato Area Public Schools will offer free nutrition services to families while schools are shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Any families with students 18-year-old and under are welcome to participate in the breakfast and lunch program.  The service is currently scheduled to last through Friday, March 27.

All services are drive-thru pick from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday – Friday.  Registration isn’t required.

Starting March 23, service will be offered at two new locations:

  • Eagle Lake Elementary
  • All Saints Church, 605 4th St, Madison Lake

Existing locations:

  • Franklin Elementary (door 6 on Broad St)
  • Monroe Elementary (door 1 on Monroe)
  • Hoover Elementary (door 12 in the bus loop)
  • Kennedy Elementary (door 14 in the bus loop)
  • East High School (door 20 in the bus lane behind the school)
  • West High School (door 17 in the south/staff parking lot)
