Mankato’s spring cleanup postponed

(Mankato, MN) – The City of Mankato will postpone the annual spring cleanup because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The cleanup is expected to be rescheduled, and city staff says they’ll plan for an increase in materials because of the later date.  Additional services that are part of spring cleanup, such as paper shredding, will also be postponed.

The city manager’s office said they understand the service is important, and it will be provided as soon as possible.

Spring cleanup is typically held the first four Saturdays of May.
