Minnesota launches telehealth COVID-19 program

Minnesota has launched a new telehealth test-to-treat program.

Residents who test positive for COVID-19 can sign up to have a virtual consultation with a licensed clinician who will evaluate them to determine if therapeutic treatment is a good option.  If so, the clinician can issue a prescription to the patient’s pharmacy.

The consultations are done via the Cue Health app.

The service will be cost-free.  The pilot program is available to all Minnesotans.
