Miss Mankato is 3rd runner up in Miss Minnesota competition

Miss Mankato was 3rd runner up at the annual Miss Minnesota competition last week. 

Sage Hovet was one of 25 contestants competing at Treasure Island Resort and Casino.  More than $20,000 in scholarships were awarded to the finalists. 

Angelina Amerigo, a 22-year-old student from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, was the winner of the crown.
