Murder suspect found incompetent to stand trial

A murder suspect has been deemed incompetent to stand trial in Le Sueur County.
Hardy Robert Wills-Traxler, 26, was charged with murder and arson in the death of his father, 64-year-old Bruce Traxler in January.
Wills-Traxler’s criminal proceeds will be reviewed in October, but the case will ultimately be handled in the civil courts.
A court order says Wills-Traxler is referred to civil commitment and will be transferred to a mental health facility.
Wills-Traxler allegedly stabbed his father to death on January 24, and set fire to the residence before he left the property. He was arrested later that day.
