No injuries reported in Mankato house fire Tuesday

No injuries were reported in a house fire Tuesday morning in Mankato.

The Mankato Department of Public Safety responded to the fire at 404 Homestead Rd at 4:04 a.m. on March 29.

Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the main floor windows and quickly extinguished the fire.

The occupants of the home escaped safely, according to a press release.

Damages are estimated at $75,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
