No injuries reported in N 6th St Fire

No one was injured in a fire on N Sixth St Tuesday morning.
Mankato Public Safety responded to 1304 N 6th St shortly after 9 a.m. for a report of the fire.
Crews were able to extinguish the exterior fire before it spread to the interior.
A press release says the cause of the fire was “improperly discharged smoking materials.”
Damages are estimated at $50,000.
