(Northfield, MN) –  Police are searching for two armed suspects that robbed a bank in Northfield Tuesday.

According to Northfield Police, the two men entered the Premier Bank on 5th Street East at about 11:50 a.m.  One of the men pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the teller and demanded cash.

The two men left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect that pulled the handgun is described as a black, 6-foot tall, heavy-set man in his 30’s.  He was wearing a black beanie hat, teal winter jack with black sleeves and purple squares on the shoulders, grey sweatpants, white and grey gloves, and a yellow vest.

The second suspect is described as a black man, 6-foot tall with a thin build, possibly in his late teens or early 20’s, wearing a black face-covering stocking cap, yellow and black safety jacket with reflective striping, black pants, and black gloves.  He was carrying a solid-colored backpack and may also have been carrying a gun.

There were no injuries reported.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northfield Police Department at (507)-645-4477.  The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
