Pedestrian injured in Highway 169 hit and run
(Mankato, MN) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit and run accident in North Mankato late Saturday night.
The state patrol says Angie Rodriguez, 24, of St. James, was walking on the shoulder in the southbound lanes of Highway 169 at Webster Ave just before midnight when she was struck by a vehicle.
Rodriguez described the vehicle that hit her as a white pickup truck hauling an empty trailer. The vehicle didn’t stop, and continued southbound on Highway 169, according to the patrol’s report.
Rodriguez was transported to Mayo Clinic Mankato for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
