Prosecutor appointed to bench in First Judicial District

Governor Tim Walz has appointed Tori Stewart to the bench in Minnesota’s First Judicial District, which includes Le Sueur and Sibley counties. 

Stewart is an assistant county attorney in Dakota County, where she prosecutes felony-level crimes, including murder, assault, criminal sexual conduct, child abuse, and more. 

Stewart will replace Judge Kevin F. Mark.  She’ll be chambered in Red Wing, in Goodhue County.
