SCC recieves $2 million grant

South Central College in North Mankato has received a more than $2 million grant from the federal government to benefit adult and underrepresented students.

The $2,018,809 grant will be used to advance “guided learning pathways” for adults and underrepresented students, including first-generation college students, low income, and students of color.

The grant is funded through the U.S. Department of Education’s Title III Strengthening Institutions Program beginning Oct 1 and continues for five years.
