No wake restriction to be lifted in Le Sueur County

(Le Center, MN) – The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s office will lift the no wake restrictions that were put in place earlier this week due to rising waters.

Sheriff Brett Mason says the restriction will be lifted effective Saturday, June 30.

The sheriff’s office said in a release that while water levels remain elevated, they have started to recede.

Sheriff Brett Mason requested that boaters use idle speeds or nothing greater than 5 miles per hour whine traveling within 200 feet of any shoreline, dock, or boat lift.  Boaters are urged to be aware of submerged docks and excess debris in the lakes creating potential hazards.
