Sleepy Eye woman injured in Mankato crash

(Mankato, MN) – A Sleepy Eye woman was injured in a crash Sunday afternoon in Mankato.
The crash happened on Highway 22 at Highway 14 at around 3:30 p.m.
According to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report, a Mazda Tribute and a Jeep Compass were both northbound on Highway 22 when the vehicles collided.
The driver of the Mazda was 25-year-old Cameron Bryce Batton, of Mankato. The Jeep driver was identified as Corey Donn Schewe, 56, of Sleepy Eye. Neither driver was injured.
A passenger in the Jeep, Tamara Joan Schewe, 53, was transported to Mayo Clinic Mankato with non-life threatening injuries following the crash.
Everyone involved in the collision was wearing seat belts, according to the patrol.
