St. James bakery voted sweetest in the state

(St. James, MN) – A longtime favorite in  St. James has been named the Sweetest Bakery in Minnesota.

There were 26 bakeries up for consideration in Minnesota in three categories: Full-line, donut shops, cake/cupcake shops.  Schmidt’s Bakery took the title in the “full line bakery.”

The downtown St. James bakery said on its Facebook page that they were also ranked the 16th Sweetest Bakery in America.

Schmidt’s Bakery has been a family-owned business since 1923.
