State patrol investigating fatal crash in Watonwan County

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened Wednesday night in Watonwan County.

A crash report says a 2005 Ford Freestyle was westbound on Highway 60 in St. James Township when it lost control and went into the median, just after 11 p.m.  A 20-year-old Inver Grove Heights woman was behind the wheel.

A baby boy was a passenger in the Ford, according to the patrol’s report.
