Two adults arrested for cemetery thefts; police seek third accomplice

(Blue Earth, MN) – Two people have been arrested and a third is still being sought in connection with various thefts and vandalism that occurred at a Blue Earth cemetery in May.

The Blue Earth Police Department received numerous reports on May 28 of flower thefts at Riverside Cemetery.  Also reported stolen was a large rose quartz rock that had been attached to a headstone.

Thirty-three-year-old Heather Rago and 37-year-old Jeremy Hansen, both of Elmore, were arrested after police executed a search warrant based on a tip they’d received regarding the whereabouts of the stolen quartz.

Rago and Hansen are facing charges of theft, receiving stolen property and criminal damage to property.

Also wanted in connection with the incident is 32-year-old Cassandra Gimmer of Elmore.
