Two injured in crash at Highways 22 & 14

(Mankato, MN) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at Highway 22 and Highway 14 in Mankato Monday evening.

The state patrol says 44-year-old Lisa Marie Richards of Mankato, was northbound on Highway 22 turning westbound onto Highway 14 when the Chrysler Town & County she was driving failed to yield to a southbound Honda. The Honda struck the Chrysler, according to the state patrol’s crash summary.

Richards and her 13-year-old passenger, Eric Arthur Richards, of Mankato weren’t injured.

Two occupants of the Honda Accord were hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries: Driver Logan Patric Neal, 20, and passenger Tasia Marie Martinson, 18, both of Mankato, were transported to Mayo Clinic Mankato.

The crash time was 7:47 p.m., according to the state patrol’s report.
