Two men critically injured in Nicollet County crash

(Mankato, MN)Two men were critcally injured when their vehicles collided in Nicollet County Wednesday.

At about 12:15 p.m David Thomas Gorka, 49, of Burtrum was northbound on Highway 111 in a Kenworth Tractor. Bradley Jay Block, age 60, of New Ulm was eastbound on Nicollet County Road 5 in a 2000 GMC Sierra. The two vehicles collided in the intersection, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Both men suffered life threatening injuries in the crash.  Gorka was transported to a Mankato Hospital.  Block was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Both men were wearing seat belts and alcohol wasn’t a factor in the crash, according to the state patrol.
